With the stories, writing activities, songs, and listening activities, the child assimilates the information, has cues as reminders, and knows the letter and sound well before moving on. My grown children loved the Superkids of the 1980s and my kindergartners love the Superkids today. The program must be good if it has remained this long."

"My kindergartners are very active, so we try to use their bodies to learn the letters and their sounds. I trace out a big letter on the floor, and the kids have to stomp their feet as they walk the letter. This helps kids get the letter 'into their bodies.'"
